most of them gave us the chim version which i bet only hongjie,gloria and nicholas



can digest. BUT.B.U.T. there was a REAL simple answer indeed.

one of them said, when the raindrops fall frm the sky and reach the ground,



it forms a shape with least surface are due to surface tension, which is sphere.



well, wenli didnt get wad surface area has gotta do with surface tension,



so i'll explain :) [i sound like some teacher..ew]



surface tension is basically the water molecules at the surface try not to break



as hard as possible [i think lahh]
